Gary Haynes

Obituary: Gary Haynes, age 63, of Concord died Monday, December 10, 2012 at his home. His death was unexpected. Gary was born March 2, 1949 in Washington DC, a son of the late Wallace H. and Fern Meeks Haynes. He was a long-time area resident and retired from the City of Concord Public Housing Authority. Gary was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jason Haynes (Jennifer) of Concord, his daughter, Jessica Haynes of Kannapolis, 2 grandchildren, Grayson Haynes and Lilly Beth Bost, his sister, Barbara Taylor of Adamstown MD, his brother, Richard Haynes of Bow MD and his sister, Jan Frank of MD. Family and friends will gather at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel to celebrate Gary's life on Saturday, December 15 from 3:00 to 5:00PM.
