Obituary: China Grove, NC- Gary Eugene Miller, Jr., age 49, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, Salisbury, NC after a brief illness. He was born April 21, 1965 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of Marcine Moore Miller and the late Gary Eugene Miller, Sr. Gary was employed with Freightliner in Cleveland, NC for eighteen years. His family fondly remembers his love of family especially his granddaughters and also loved working on his farm. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Joel Ervin. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2014 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of sixteen and a half years; Renee Blevins-Miller; a daughter, Samantha Ervin & husband, Justin of Kannapolis, NC; a sister, Gina Miller White & husband, Delan of Statesville, NC; two grandchildren, Miley Grace Ervin and Ally Marie Ervin; and many nieces and nephews.
