Gerald Boyce Bond

Obituary: Gerald B. Bond Jr. 58, of China Grove, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home. Gerald was born December 8, 1959 in Cabarrus Co. to Linda Fisher Cline and the late Gerald B. Bond Sr. He was a graduate of A. L. Brown High School, Class of 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Honor Guard, receiving several commendations. He was a deputy for Cumberland Co. Sherriff's Dept. for two years and worked as a process officer for the DMV for 18 years. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and father, Linda and Gene Cline, a son Scottie Lee Bond, a daughter Brittany Nichole Bond, and a granddaughter Jacelyn Hart Bond. A memorial service will be held in the summer at Myrtle Beach. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
