Obituary: Gilbert Wade Skillman, 75, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at CMC Northeast. A private service will be held at a later date.Mr. Skillman was born July 1, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Gilbert Wade Skillman and Girtha Gray Skillman.He retired as SGT. Major from Florida National Guard after 41 years. He was known as the boy next door and was a loving father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jean Dixon Skillman of the home; three children, Wade Dale Skillman and his wife, Paulette of Pittsburgh, PA., Susan Moss and her husband, Dan of Ft.
