Gilberto Rosario

Obituary: Gilberto Rosario, 91, of Kannapolis passed away on October 6, 2017. He was born August 27, 1926 in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Romana Rosario. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Irma Caban Rosario. He is survived by two sons, Ricardo Rosario of New Windsor, NY, Ruben Rosario (Crissy) of Concord, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, Concord conducted by Father Jerome Chavarria, C.Ss.R. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday October 10, 2017 Whitley's Funeral Home.

Service: A funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 St. James the Greater Catholic Church.

Interment: Burial will be at the Church Cemetery.
