Obituary: Glenda Carol Julian Campbell, 68, formerly of Kannapolis died Feb. 27, 2010 in Wilmington. She had lived there since 1992. She was born Feb. 5, 1942 in Rowan County, the daughter of the Nellie Marie Moose Julian of Kannapolis and the late Norman C. Julian. She was also preceded in death by a son Ecil Campbell, Jr. She had formerly worked at Cannon Mills Co. She enjoyed making crafts. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 on Tuesday at Whitley's. In addition to her mother, she is survived by 3 children: Donnie H. Julian of Roanoke, Va., Deborah H. Fisher and Norma Stamper both of Concord, her sister Joyce Julian of Concord, her brother Frankie Julian of Mooresville, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
