Glenda Jacobs

Obituary: Glenda Price Jacobs, 81, of China Grove, passed away, Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1937 in Rowan Co. to the late Rev. LW Price and Nell Looney Price. Glenda was a loving Mother and grandmother, devout christian who loved her church family. Long time member of the Kannapolis Church of God where she was a member of the choir, children's and ladies ministries. She loved traveling with the Seniors Heritage Choir and spending time with her friends from the water aerobics class. She spent many years caring for children in her home and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 28 at West A Church of God with Dr. Greg Sloop and Rev. Demps Overcash officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. David B. Jacobs, and a brother Ronnie Price. Those left to cherish her memory, her two sons and one daughter. Glenn and Janet Jacobs of Statesville, Chuck Jacobs of Newton, and Shelia and Ron Holt of Salisbury, 13 grandchildren, and 10 Great grandchildren.
