Glenda Diane Jordan

Obituary: Glenda Diane Eberhart Jordan, 62, beloved Mother and Grandmother died at her home in Kannapolis on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017. Glenda was born on October 7, 1955 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late George Eberhart and the late Emma Sue Dodd Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Jordan, a brother, Buddy Gene Eberhart and a sister, Lois Ross. Mrs. Jordan was for many years a caregiver for the elderly. She loved her flowers, gardening and dearly loved her family. Survivors include her two daughters; Angie Searles and Lori (Terry) Pittman both of Kannapolis, five grandchildren; Amber Jones, Charles Jordan, Dale Pittman, Ashley Searles and Jacob Searles and one great-grandson, Declan Jones. She is also survived by her dear friend, Tom Settlage The service for Mrs. Jordan will take place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Pastor James Pauley. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 before the service.
