Obituary: Glenn Gerald Gulledge, 72, of Concord died Friday, December 23, 2011 at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a period of declining health.He was born November 7, 1939 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the lateGrover Cleveland and Inez Gulledge Gulledge. Prior to his disability he was an avid carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Josh Hughes. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service. At other times they will be at their respective residences.Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.Survivors include two sons. Rodney Gulledge (Tammy) of Rockwell, Larry Deaton, Jr. (Angela) of Calhoun, Ga., four daughters, Cindy Pittman (Dell) of Concord, Tammy Rivers (Hatch), Darlene Keith (Clifton) and Glenda Dixon all of Chesterfield, SC. Three brothers, Thomas Gulledge of Delaware, Randy Gulledge and Donnie Gulledge both of Ruby, SC., sister, Diane Mills of Pageland, SC, ten Grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.Online condolences may be sent to www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
