Glennette Beaver

Obituary: Glennette Martha Moon Beaver, 83, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 3, 2014 at Transitional Health Services. Mrs. Beaver was born April 20, 1931 in Madison County, GA. To the late Caswell Moon and Gussie Smith Moon. She was the wife of the late R. D. Beaver who preceded her in 1992. Glennette retired after many years of service from Cannon Mills and she was a member of Grace Covenant Church in Kannapolis, NC. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Rowe (Don) of Indian Trail, NC; two sons, Ricky Beaver (Patty) and Eddie Beaver (Nancy) both of Kannapolis, NC; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Moon (Nancy) of Kannapolis, NC, and Ronnie Moon (Niki) of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Kat Edmonson and Marion Anderson both of Kannapolis, NC. Mrs. Beaver was preceded in death by her brothers, Virlyn Moon and A.M. Moon. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Grace Covenant Church with the Rev. Glynn Weatherby, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home.
