Grace Mcbride Bullaboy

Obituary: Grace McBride Bullaboy, 86, of Kannapolis died October 17, 2011 at Big Elm Nursing Center. She was born August 20, 1925 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Charles Adam McBride and Mary Dean McBride. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Britten Bullaboy in 1995.She retired from Linn-Corriher Mills. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt that also loved everyone she met through the years. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at Liberty Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bennie Burgess and Rev. Robert Earnhardt. Burial will follow at Unity Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Whitley's Funeral Home. At other times , they will be at the daughter's home, 8001 Wright Rd.She is survived by her daughter, Lu Ann Campbell (Marty) of Kannapolis, her son, Kent Bullaboy of Rockwell, 3 grandchildren: Marty Campbell Jr. (Tammy), Tesha Sigmon (Val) and Wendy Barnes, 7 greatgrandchildren: Maeghan, Michael, Madyson, Kyndal, Kamryn, Bobby and Darren, her brother Floyd McBride and many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials to Liberty Baptist Church, 220 Heintz Ave., Kannapolis, NC 28081.Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
