Grace Woodward

Obituary: Grace Gulledge Woodward Grace was born May 27, 1918 and passed away June 1, 2017 at the age of 99 at Tucker Hospice house. She had been in declining health for several years. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie Donahue and Josie Gulledge. Her husband of 68 years, Mr. I. A. Woodward, also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sisters, Rosalee Woodward and Kathleen Hancock. Other family survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Cherita and Chris Herrin and her grandchildren, Brad Herrin and Lyndsay Herrin. Funeral service will be at Whitley's Funeral Home of Kannapolis on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 1 p.m. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC. 28081.
