Obituary: Mr. Grady Cole Mullis, 81, of Kannapolis Passed away, Tuesday July 21, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born December 27, 1933 in Cabarrus County to the late Charlie Franklin and Bettie Lemly Mullis. He had served in the U S Army and was a member of River of Life Family Worship Center. Grady was preceded in death by his parents, one son Stacey Lynn Mullis, also three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife Alda Hubbard Mullis of the home, sons Barry Todd Mullis and wife Lori Jenkins Mullis of China Grove, Michael Wayne Mullis of Kannapolis, Michael Gene Hendrix of Mt. Holly, and Jeffery Daniel Hendrix of Fort Mill S.C., Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. His first wife Lucille Baity Mullis of Salisbury to whom he was married 20 years and three children were born into this marriage. A Celebration of Life service will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2015 at River of Life Family Worship Center, Kannapolis with Rev. Bryan Rabon officiating . The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:00P.M. prior to the service.
