Grady F. Phelps

Grady Franklin Phelps, 80, of Mocksville, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Novant Medical Center-Rowan. He was born December 3, 1944, to the late Walter and Pauline Sain Phelps in Salisbury, NC.

Grady was a longtime worker at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis. Grady loved going to the mountains. He would take his camper on weekends and travel to the mountains or the beach. He also enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Corinth Church of Christ.

Grady is survived by his stepson, Tracy Winecoff (Nikki); special grandson, Brayden; friends and caregivers, Ruth Brown and Miss Debra Amphayant and other friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barabra Phelps in 2019.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Rev Bryan McClannon will be officiating.
