Grayson Thomas Ratliff

Grayson Thomas Ratliff, 19, of Concord, NC passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at his home. He was born Hryshchenk Mykola Mykolayovych (Kolya) in Makiivka, Donetsk, Ukraine on January 17, 2003. Through God’s divine intervention he was adopted by Nancy and James Ratliff in 2019. He was welcomed into a family in America and the most supportive adoption community. He has attended Cox Mill High School since being home and was currently a senior. He was an athlete at heart and could master any sport with a ball. Also, an artist he loved to draw and sketch. He loved video games as well and that is how he kept in touch with friends internationally. He was preceded in death by his birth parents. Those left to cherish his memory; his parents James Thomas Ratliff III and Nancy Stamey Ratliff, brothers and sisters’ Hunter Standifer (William) of Concord, Savannah Ratliff of Concord, Zander, Ethan, Columbia and Bristol Ratliff, all of the home. A grandmother Pamela Stamey of Kannapolis and grandparents James Thomas Ratliff Jr and Loretta Ratliff of Rapid City, SD. and many, many more extended family across many states. Please consider joining us for a memorial service that will be held at SOJO Church 848 S Union St S Concord NC 28025 with Pastor Corey Alley and Pastor Eric Lively officiating.
