Gregory Lynn Reynolds

Gregory Lynn “Greg” Reynolds, 57, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Monday afternoon, May 24, 2021, at his home, following a period of declining health.

Born July 10, 1963, in Cabarrus County, he was a son of Pauline Griffin Reynolds of Kannapolis, and the late Richard Walton Reynolds.

Greg was a 1981 graduate of A.L. Brown and a proud 1985 graduate of NC State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and economics.  Greg had worked for First Investors of Charlotte.

A true “die hard” NC State fan, Greg loved all of his family and was a loving son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle.  Although in a much better place today, Greg will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Family members, in addition to his mother, include his brother, Eric Reynolds and wife, Lynn. Also surviving him are his two nephews, Dustin Reynolds and wife, Dr. Jesse Reynolds, and their son Wyatt, and Austin Reynold, and extended family members.

Private services will be held at a later date.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Greg’s name to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY  10018 or to Memorial United Methodist Church, 1100 W C Street, Kannapolis, NC  28081.
