Guy Junior Furr

Obituary: Guy Junior Furr, 79, of Kannapolis died May 20, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast. He was born May 15, 1932 in Kannapolis, the son of the late Daniel Furr and Loma Linker Furr Stallings. He had lived in California working in the oil industry for 25 years before moving back to Kannapolis. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Raymond Davis. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 prior to the service. He is survived by a sister, Sarah Barnette of Kannapolis and a brother Leon Stallings of Kannapolis.
Visitation: 2-3 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home.

Service: 3 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.
