Harold Gee

Obituary: Kannapolis-Harold Gee, 65, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, November 9, 2015, following a period of declining health. Born May 25, 1950 in Mooresville NC, he was a son of the late Thomas Hubert and Stella Mae Milam Gee. Earlier in life, Harold had worked for Cannon Mills, Plant #1 in the machine shop. He later worked in construction and was owner of Gee's Vinyl Siding and Windows. He loved being outdoors and greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his sister Joyce Gee, his brother Tommy Gee, niece Sonya Erwin Carpenter and nephew Richard Gee. Family members left with cherished memories include his daughters Jill Gee Barth and husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC and Cathy Gee Tallent of Kannapolis; his sisters Brenda Daniels and Wilma Erwin, both of Kannapolis; his grandchildren Ellisa and Caylie Tallent, Amanda, Abigail and Alexandra Barth, Alexia, Ethan and Colton Helms, Addison Arnett, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 13, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mr. Gee will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2015, in the main chapel of Whitley's Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Gene Edwards.
