Harold (Bud) Mullis

Obituary: Harold (Bud) Alexander Mullis, 76 of Kannapolis passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Mullis was born in Cabarrus County, NC, on June 17, 1936 a son of the late Charles F. and Bettie Lemley Mullis. In addition to his parents he preceded in death by two brothers; James (Duck) Mullis, and Johnnie Mullis, and two sisters; Betty Lou Phillips, and Willie Price. He retired in 2002 from Cannon Mills where he was a dryer tender. Mr. Mullis is survived by a brother; Grady C. Mullis and wife Alda of Kannapolis, and a sister; Hilda Mullis Bradley of Mint Hill, several nieces and nephews and his beloved pet, Little Boy Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM on Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
