Harold "Buck" Milton Tucker

Obituary: Harold Milton (Buck) Tucker, age 85, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Big Elm Retirement Center, Kannapolis, NC after a period of declining health. He was born July 24, 1927 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Rufus Grady Cline and Verna Mae Tucker Cline. Buck was employed with the former Cannon Mills Company, Plant #1 Bleachery Dept. for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in the U.S. and in Europe throughout the years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Groff Tucker; and a sister, Marlene Cline Cooper. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Marler Starnes. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include daughter, Retha Stackleather of San Antonio, TX; a son, Ronnie Tucker & wife, Rhonda of Landis, NC; grandchildren, David Stackleather, Jr., Deanna Libby & husband, Jeff, Jamie Tucker, and Cassie Christy; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Cline & wife, Christine of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and three sisters, Peggy Crayton of Kannapolis, NC, Sharon Hartsell & husband, Ed of Monroe, NC, and Sandra Thomason & husband, Ralph of Kannapolis, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5033 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
Visitation: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Service: A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m.Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Carolina Memorial Park.
