Harry Franklin Wright

Obituary: Harry F. Wright, 94, of Hickory, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his home. He was born July 2, 1922 in Iredell County to Bud Franklin Wright and Leona Morrow Wright. Harry retired from Plant 1 Cannon Mills and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline M. Wright, and son Randy F. Wright. Those left to cherish his memory, two daughters Sharon E. Wright an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam, Brenda K. Guye and her husband Tommy, one granddaughter Sharae Marcom, and also the love of his life and soul mate Muriel Sterne. Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Sherrills Ford Baptist Church in Salisbury with military rites.
