Harvey Lee Greene

Obituary: Harvey Lee Greene, 62, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at his residence. Death was unexpected. He was born April 12, 1950 in Cabarrus County, son of Dorothy Elizabeth Green Moss of Kannapolis and the late Fred Heath Green. Harvey was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church. He had been employed with Kannapolis Sprinkler as an installer until becoming disabled. He was an avid wrestling fan. Survivors in addition to his mother include two sons, Christopher Greene of Kannapolis, and Randall (Wendi) Greene of Kannapolis. One daughter, Melissa Greene of Lexington, three sisters and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 18, 2012 at Piedmont Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Edwards. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at the church 12:00-1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral. At other times they will be at the residence. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations may be made to Whitley's Funeral Home to be applied to funeral expenses.
