Obituary: Harvey Edward Trexler, Jr., 84, of Kannapolis died October 5, 2011 at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born April 17, 1927 in Rowan County, the son of the late Harvey E. Trexler Sr. and the late Lela Holshouser Trexler.He had worked at Cannon Mills Co. Plant 1 # 7 Spinning Room for 28 years and also at Draymore Manufacturing Co for 16 years. He was an active member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was involved with the Senior Citizens group and the Men's Brotherhood. He was a graduate of China Grove High School and Salisbury Business College. He is survived by his wife, Stella Alderman Trexler, his daughter Ruth Whitten, 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a brother Carl Trexler and three sisters, Louise Honeycutt, Nellie Saunders and Carrie Inez Furr.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Jimmy Barnhill and Rev. Ralph Adams. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior at church. Memorials may be made to Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior at church.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Interment: Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
