Hazel Therrell Beaver

Obituary: Hazel Therrell Beaver, 79, of Kannapolis, passed away, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Universal Health Care in Concord. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday June 8, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Hargett officiating burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Friday prior to the service at Whitley's Funeral Home. She was born December 7, 1938 in Chesterfield Co. SC to the late Lewis Lee Therrell and Rowena McLain Therrell. Hazel worked at Cannon Mills for 40 years, she also worked at Pathway's for 10 years as a CNA. She was a den mother of Cub Scouts Pack #294 and served in scouting for many years. She was also the Vice President of patient care at Universal Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Boyden Beaver Sr., three sons, Mike Tyner, Scotty Tyner, Chuck Beaver, one brother David Therrell, and one sister Sybil Raffaldt. Those left to cherish her memory, one son, Randy Tyner (Deloris) of Salisbury, one brother Tony Therrell (Judy) of Kannapolis, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
