Hazel Diane Dwiggins

Obituary: Hazel "Diane" Dwiggins Packer, 68, of Harrisburg, NC went to be with The Lord on September 7, 2015 after her unsuccessful battle with lung cancer. She was born November 9, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late Floyd E. Dwiggins, Sr. & Roxie Lee Dwiggins. She retired from Pharr Yarns in 1999 after 12 years of employment. She is survived by her two children Lee Ann Pridgeon and husband Monty of the home and Richard Gieck and wife Simone of Jesup, GA. She has ten grandchildren; Olivia Moseley and Christina Pridgeon of Harrisburg, NC, Chad Pridgeon of Charlotte, NC, Branson Hilton & Landen Pridgeon of the home as well as Chelsea Gieck of Durham, NC, Isabella Gieck of Indianapolis, IN and Logan Gieck, Jourdan Stewart and Shantel Stewart of Jesup, GA, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed by all, especially her grandchildren. She has two brothers, Jerry "Lefty" Dwiggins and wife Brenda and Floyd "Buck" Dwiggins, Jr. and wife Shelby all of Kannapolis. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers James K. Dwiggins and wife Judy and the recent passing of John H. Dwiggins. The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, September 19th with the receiving of friends at 2:00 p.m., followed by the service at 3:00 p.m. at her home church of Rocky River Church officiated by Pastor Jimmy Britt.
