Obituary: Heather Ann Courage Bose, 78, of Kannapolis passed away on July 7, 2016 at her home. She was born June 10, 1938 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late David McLaren Courage and Phyllis Ashford Courage. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Courage. Heather worked as a legal secretary in her early life, then became a fulltime wife and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a prayer warrior and in charge of the prayer chain. She also held many volunteer positions throughout her life. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Hill. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Heather is survived by her husband, Thomas Bose whom she married Dec. 3, 1965, son, Jeffrey T. Bose (Joan) of Waxhaw, grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Jacob and Jordan Bose, sisters, Sheila Connolly (Frank) of Mass., Davida Wagner (Bill) of NH, Laurie Courage of VT., and brother David "Gingie" Courage (Nancy) of NH.
