Hector Lewis Bonilla

Hector Luis Bonilla (69) joined his Lord and savior in Heaven on  February 5th, 2022.

Born on August 9th, 1952 in Coamo, Puerto Rico, he was the son Gladys Cruz Sanchez and the late  Pedro Bonilla . In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his sister Olga Pillot, and Carlos Bonilla.

Hector was a mechanic at Midas for 20 years. When he wasn’t working, you could using find him fishing, or enjoying music with his wife, Judy. He was a faithful follower of Christ, and a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He never met a stranger, and will be remembered for his loving spirit.

Hector’s unrelenting patience and resilience was an inspiration to all. The unwavering strength he showed in his final years fighting liver cancer was a testament to his faith in God, and his dedication to his family.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Hector include his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Bonilla. His children, Danielle Bonilla, Hector Bonilla Jr,Jo Marie Whitley, David Bonilla, & Mark Bonilla. Grandchildren, Patric,Jayla, and Aiden  Bonilla his siblings Pete Bonilla (Bernice), Fe Maria Lopez ( Miguel), Eduardo Bonilla, Otoniel Bonilla

Funeral services will be conducted at Whitley Funeral Home on Friday, February 11th, 2022. Funeral services begins at 11 am, the family will be celebrating his life with those who loved him after.
