Helen (Gentry) Goforth

Helen Gentry Goforth, 89, of Kannapolis/Concord, passed away November 10, 2022 at The Laurels of Salisbury.
She was born October 8, 1933, in Comer, GA to the late Ollie Gentry and Clara Voils Gentry.
Helen's life was her husband and children, she worked as a hemmer and inspector at Pillowtex, she also worked at DSS as a home health nurse, and a biscuit maker at Hardees, she was a very devoted Christian woman, and held her faith in God, she enjoyed many things in life; crocheting, dancing, gardening, cooking, listening to Rick play music, she always had a smile on her face through it all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Lester Goforth Jr., and son, Robert Lester Goforth III.
Those left to cherish her memory, her sons, Rick (Chrissy) Goforth of Lexington, Ronnie Lee (Kelly) Goforth of Concord, five grandchildren, six step grandchildren, and numerous Great grandchildren, also survived by one brother Bobby Gentry (Margaret).
Graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday November 14, 2022 at Carolina Memorial Park, with Rev. Steven Cline officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 2-3:30 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
