Helen Hill

Obituary: Helen Audrey Odette Hill, of Kannapolis, N. C., formerly of Florida, passed away March 31, 2019. She was born August 9, 1921 in Cromwell, CT., a daughter of the late William and Lucy Devine Odette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick L. Hill. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Cross and six brothers and sisters. She was retired from Johnson Drug Co., a division of McKesson Corp., where she was an order clerk. Helen attended Shadybrook Baptist Church in Kannapolis. She was a member and officer of the Order of the Eastern Star Grand Chapter 29 in Florida and was also active in the Amaranth. Helen is survived by her son, Stephen Spencer and his wife Tracy, her daughters, Nancy Gabriel, Faith Maddex and Helen Spencer, 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and her brother, Richard Audette. She will be laid to rest in Westfield Cemetery in Danielson, CT., at a later date.
