Helen Louise Ross

Obituary: Helen Louise Ross, 75, of Concord passed away June 2, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House. She was born July 12, 1941 to the late Worley Lane Stribling and Rachel Grace Campbell Stribling. Helen worked at Pillowtex for 34 years, following Pillowtex she worked as a CNA for Best of Care. She was a member of Sunrise Freewill Baptist Church. Helen was always helping others when she could, she enjoyed Gospel music, and spending time with the grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, one brother, four sisters and a grandson Jason Mault. Those left to cherish her memory; one son Shane Lee Gobble (Kim) of Kannapolis, two daughters, Angela Celeste Bunton (Frank) of Mooresville, Robin Gail Kale (Wendell) of Whitsett, NC, three grandchildren, Savannah Gobble, Caleb Mault, and Heather Kale. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park, with the Rev. Mitch Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM prior to the service at Whitley's Funeral Home.
