Obituary: Helen Frances Morrison Triplett, 82, died Friday December 24, 2010 at CMC-NE in Concord. Her death follows a period of declining health. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. She was born September 8, 1928 in Rowan County, NC, the daughter of the late Robert Morrison, and the late Minnie Overcash Morrison. She was formerly employed by China Grove Cotton Mill, and was an avid bowler. She was a member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry H. Triplett who died in 2003. She is survived by her son Keith Triplett of the home, a grandson Justin Triplett of Fresno, California; a sister Kathleen Baity of Charlotte and several nieces and nephews.
