Obituary: Jerry Caudill Herman Jerry Caudill, 66, of Concord passed away on July 25, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast. He was born October 28, 1946 in Ashe County, the son of Herman and Jessie Faw Caudill. He retired as a Superintendent from Kodiak Construction, Charlotte and had also worked for F.N. Thompson Construction for many years. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and an antique collector. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic. The family will receive friends prior from 1:00 to 2:30. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jerry Dale Caudill and Jeremy Shane Caudill both of Concord, and five sisters, Jean "Babe" Caldwell, Debbie Laws, Amy Osborne, Ann "Gill" Walden and Justine Fiore.
