Herman Sehorn

Obituary: Herman "Wayne" Sehorn, 65, of Kannapolis went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Wayne is the son of John and Frances Eller and the late Edward Leon Sehorn. He was born January 18, 1949 in Cabarrus County. Wayne worked for Foils, Inc. until he had to retire because of his illness. One of his greatest passions was fishing! He loved to spend his spare time with a fishing pole and his fishing buddies. His second greatest passion was harassing all the folks at the Waffle House. He truly loved each of them and they loved him too! He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Saundra Coone Sehorn; step-children: Denise St. Clair (Randy), Dwaine Basinger (Debbie) of China Grove, Jeff Basinger, Michelle Linton (Tim Plott) of Concord, Daughters; Michelle Stacey and Becky Hillier; sisters, Kay Johnson (Mike) and Donna Wingler (Thomas); step-grandchildren, Amanda Lane Pence (Dustin), Ryan Linton, Erin Basinger and Breezi Basinger. Wayne was such a personable person and everyone that knew him loved him. He will be truly missed. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, November 14, 2014 at Central Baptist Church and the funeral will be held at 7:00 PM at the church with Rev. Curtis Parker officiating.
