Homer Lee Sonny Stiller

Obituary: China Grove, NC - Homer Lee "Sonny" Stiller, 71, formerly of China Grove died Wednesday April 15, 2009 at Liberty Commons in Salisbury. He was born January 9, 1938 in Cabarrus County the son of the late Homer E. and Cora Mae Ervin Stiller. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Shue and Ailleen Chavis. Before moving to Liberty Commons in 2005 he had made his home with his sister Ailleen Chavis and husband Cirven since 1976. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday at Grace Covenant Church in Kannapolis officiated by Rev. Glynn Weatherby. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Saturday at the church. At other times they will be at his nephew's home, Kenny Chavis 240 Tranquil Lake Drive China Grove. He is survived by his brother-in-law Cirven Chavis, nephew Kenny Chavis and wife Donna of China Grove and their son Parker and a niece Pam Chavis and boyfriend Ray Overby of Concord.
