Hope Elaine Coffey

Obituary: Hope Elaine Coffey, 55, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at her residence. Hope was born February 12, 1957 in Waynesboro, Virginia to the late Clarence A. and Margie R. Coffey. She was a loving and caring sister, mom, and grandma. She also was a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Devin Adams of Taylorsville, and Timmie Phillips and his wife, Amy of Monroe, NC; four grandchildren, Joshua Adams, Harmonee Phillips, Hallie and Hayden Schaffer; a sister, Lynn C. Treadway and brother-in-law, Shane Treadway of Concord; and a brother, Bruce Coffey of Concord. A graveside service will be held 11:30 A.M. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Carolina Memorial Park with the Rev. Buddy Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:15 A.M. prior to the service at Whitley's Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home of her sister, 1418 Rheo Ct. Concord, NC.
