Howard Reed Hall, Jr.

Obituary: Howard Reed Hall Jr., 54 of Blowing Rock, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013. He was born August 23, 1958, the son of Howard R. Hall Sr. and Camilla (Millie) Hall of Kannapolis. Reed was a graduate of Appalachian State University. He was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School, Class of 1976 and was an Eagle Scout. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Joshua Reed Hall of Boone, his sister, Camilla H. Buckwell and husband, Chip of Kannapolis and their children, Nicholas and Tyler Buckwell, and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis officiated by Rev. C.B. Owens of Wilmington. At other times, the family will be at the home of Howard and Millie Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Watauga County Humane Society, PO Box 1835, Boone, NC 28604 and/or Kannapolis Education Foundation, 100 Denver St., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the home.
