Hoy Eugene Fisher

Obituary: Hoy Eugene Fisher, 72, of The Meadows, Rockwell, formerly of Kannapolis went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 4, 2010 from CMC NorthEast in Concord. He was born January 16, 1937 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Ralph Davis Fisher Sr. and the late Sarah Jane Russell Fisher. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Coy Eudy and Ralph Davis Fisher Jr. and a sister Ellen JoAnne Cook. He was a veteran of the US Army . He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired due to disability where he had worked in the security guard business. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday Jan. 9, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Buddy Hoffner. The family will receive friends after the service. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date. He is survived by his son, Brian Keith Fisher and grand-daughter Ashley of Charlotte, his sister Mary Frances Poole of Gold Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment: Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date
