Hugh Mitchell Bostian

Hugh Mitchell Bostian, 71, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Thursday afternoon, February 24, 2022, at his home.

Born July 24, 1950, in Iredell County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Sarah Frances Wensil Bostian.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dale M. Bostian; and his son, Keith Bostian;

An experienced and talented mechanic, Hugh had been an employee of Great Dane Trailers.  Always in overalls, Hugh enjoyed trips to the mountains, driving his tractor and would help anyone. He was a member of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church. Mitchell will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Family members include his much-loved daughter, Paula B. Kautzmann (David), his granddaughter, Marva White; 1 brother, CD Bostian; 2 sisters, Vickie Hardin and Star Atwell; and his brother-in-law, Bobby Stanford.

The family will receive family and friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday, March 5, 2022, at West A Tabernacle Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 2:00 pm in the church, conducted by Pastor Rodney Efird.  Casual dress, with overalls being preferred, is asked for those attending.
