Infant Harper Lauren Brooks

Obituary: Harper Lauren Brooks, infant daughter of Kenny and Rebekah Wagers Brooks of Concord, was born on August 30, 2014 at 2:21pm at CMC-NorthEast. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents at 2:45pm. In addition to her parents she is survived by a half-brother; Austin D. Brooks, maternal grandparents; Gary and Jean Wagers of Concord, paternal grandparents; Terry and Trish Brooks of Concord, great grandparents; Opal Wagers of Corbin, KY, Jimmy Brooks of Mint Hill and Arlee Witmore of Charlotte, an aunt; Gretchen Ryerson and husband Tim of Concord (children: Brianna, Anthony, Brent, and Cameron) and an uncle; Terry Brooks Jr. and wife Allison of Concord (children: Jacob, Blain, and Bella). Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with Rev. Steve Eddins officiating. Whitley's Funeral Home is assisting the Brooks family. The Brooks family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep photographer, Julie Stancil, for capturing beautiful memories and also to the staff at the Mariam Cannon Hayes Family Center at CMC-NorthEast for their constant care and compassion during this difficult time.
