Irma Verlene Alexander

Obituary: Irma Verlene Alexander, 66, of Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday morning, June 27, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House. Born June 29, 1950 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Will and Maggie Olabell Bolder Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Vester Lee Streater, III. Irma loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them. She was a devoted member of Church of God of Prophecy in Kannapolis and loved singing. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service to remember and celebrate Irma's life will begin at 2:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel. The family will speak to friends following the services. Loving family members include her daughter, Sharonda Streater; her brothers, Isaac Alexander and his wife Annie, Ernest Alexander and wife Vanessa, Willie Alexander,Osborne Alexander,Marvin Alexander and wife Deidre, and Robert Miller; her sisters Yvonne Davis and husband Carlton, Paulette Alexander and Vanessa Perry and husband Fred; her grandchildren Rahjgee Collins and Dijahrii Tugman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
