Obituary: Jack Thomas Reynolds, 76, of 6216 Vine Ave., Kannapolis died Friday, March 14, 2014 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord, NC. Jack was born in Oceanside, NY on Oct. 1, 1937, the son of the late William M. Reynolds and the late Mildred Lamport Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds retired as a fireman with the city of Oakland Park, FL and in recent years worked part time at Bakers Creek Park in Kannapolis. He attended church at Bethpage United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Reynolds of the home and two daughters; Annis Fox of Wisconsin and Carole Dunlap of Ohio. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Bethpage United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
