Jackie Hamrick Hellard

Obituary: Jackie Hamrick Hellard, 90, formerly of Landis, NC died at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Salisbury on Oct. 3, 2016. Jackie was born on April 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Jewel Hamrick and the late Bessie Frances Wright Hamrick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hellard and three brothers. She had worked for Terry Product, Inc., retiring when the business closed. She loved life to the fullest and her family will miss her positive spirit and her Wonderful out look on life. The service for Mrs. Hellard will take place at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, Oct. 5th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Gene Beaver. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Garden in Rockwell, NC. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 before the service. Survivors include her daughters; Sheila Bost Beaver (Mike) of Landis, Sherry B. Troxler and Terry B. Patrick both of Kannapolis, grandchildren; Jeff Beaver, Julie Beaver, Jamie Forstram, Dusty Lackey and Rikkie Jo Burris, 11 great-grandchildren and a brother, Bill Hamrick (Doris). The family wishes to offer a special thank you to Liberty Commons, to all the staff, Nurses, C.N.A.'s, Rehap Personal and Hospice Care. You were all so good to Momma and she loved you all. Thank you each and every one and know we love you.
