Jackie Wayne Sullivan

Jackie Wayne Sullivan, 64, of Kannapolis died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a period of declining health.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Jackie was born July 5, 1956 in Cabarrus Co., a son of the late Ramsey G. and Olivia Gregory Sullivan. A lifelong area resident, Jackie graduated from A. L. Brown High School. Jackie worked as a welder for several different companies including the railroad until he retired on disability.  He enjoyed hot-rodding around “Idiot Circle”, fishing and playing pool with his friends. His sons remember him as a loving and devoted father and grandfather. Jackie was an all-around good man and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his sons; Jason Sullivan (Kimberly Madero) of Charlotte and Michael Sullivan (Amber) of Mt. Pleasant, his grandchildren; Kyle and Madison Sullivan and his brothers, James Sullivan (Sandra) and Gary Sullivan (Ann), both of Kannapolis and Johnny Sullivan (June) of Mooresville as well as several nieces and nephews.
