Obituary: Jacqueline Shue (Jackie) Carter, age 52, graduated from this life into Heaven on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC. She was born April 2, 1959 in Lewes, Delaware, the daughter of the late Allen Wade Shue and Alice Caudill Shue. Jackie was a 1977 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. Jackie was employed with Arrowpointe Capital, Charlotte, NC for 17 years. She was a member of the Christian faith. Jackie displayed the kindness and gentle spirit that a Christian person should possess. She was the epitome of graciousness, kindness, and generosity. She was considered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, David Allen Carter. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Charlie Littlejohn. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the funeral home. Survivors include her two daughters, Alisha Carter Nailor & husband, Michael of Linwood, NC and Jessica Carter Bollinger & husband, Robert of Concord, NC; four grandchildren, Kacy, Megan, Julie, and Jacob; one sister, Sherrie S. Benson & husband, Wayne of Concord, NC; one brother, Jeffrey Allen Shue & wife, Linda of Locust, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 On-line condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
