Obituary: Jacqueline "Jackie" Barnhardt Lail, 89, of Concord, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home after a short illness. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2018 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregory Hamilton and Rev. Charlie Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the church. She was born December 19, 1928 in Mecklenburg Co. to the late Lewis Taylor Barnhardt and Mary Elizabeth Woodside Barnhardt. Jackie was a graduate of Central High, received a bachelor's degree in education from Lenior-Rhyan, and also received a master's in education from Peaboddy School of Teaching. Those left to cherish her memory, her husband Jack Lail Sr., a son Jack Lail Jr. (Paula) of Kannapolis, a daughter Elizabeth L. Williams (Scott) of Charlotte, five grandchildren, Jacob Lail, Uriah Wilhite, Emily Yow, Ben Williams, and Caitlyn Williams, and five Great grandchildren.
