Jacqueline Annette Rowell

Jacqueline Annette Mills Rowell, 86, of Kannapolis, passed away, Sunday March 30, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

She was born January 2, 1939, in Union Co. NC to the late Jack Mills and Gladys Mae Birmingham.

Jackie worked for Cannon Mills until her retirement, She enjoyed fishing, the mountains, baking at Christmas time and cooking, she loved her Lord and Savior and she loved her family, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wade Rowell in 2017.

Those left to cherish her memories, two sons Garry Rowell of China Grove, Scott Rowell and wife Carolyn of Kannapolis, two grandchildren, Candace Miller of China Grove, Hailey Mekebak and husband Drew of Ludowici, GA, five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Madelyn, Isaiah, Gavin, and Athena, a special niece, Sandy Jenkins.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 4, 2025 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Collins officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
