James Hargett

Obituary: James Wilton Hargett, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System- Main, Charlotte, NC. He was born October 24, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late James Alfred Hargett and Roberta Carey Hargett. James was employed as an executive with the former Springs Industries, Ft. Mill, SC for many years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Lester Lee Hargett. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC. Inurnment will be at a later date at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. Survivors include his brother, Bobby Hargett of Kannapolis, NC; friend, Linda Stamper of Ft.
