Obituary: James Allan Laxton, 63, of Concord died Friday, December 10, 2010. His death was unexpected. Mr. Laxton was born on January 13, 1947 in Caldwell County, NC., and served in the US Marines during the Viet Nam War. A memorial service will be held 7:30 PM on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Shady Brook Baptist Church, 2940 Belmeade Dr., Charlotte NC., 28214.
