James Garfield Little

Obituary: James G. Little, 90, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 5, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House. Born March 14, 1925 in Wilkes County, NC, he was a son of the late Lucian and Hannah Matilda Wingler Little. James retired from Pilot Trucking Co. of Winston-Salem, after more than 35 years of loyal service. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his first wife, Lucy Davis Little in 1988; a brother and 2 sisters. Family members include his wife, Willie M. Little; his son Darrell Little and wife, Sandra; a sister Barbara Skidmore; grandchildren Janet Booth (David) and Jamie Little (Earla); his step-grandchildren Jim Johnson (Grace), Bobby Johnson (Karen) and Kathy Howell (Billy). A graveside memorial service will be held at later date. Memorials may be made to Zion Freewill Baptist Church, 3918 Mullis Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
