James Ray Sartain

James Ray Sartain, 50 years old, of China Grove, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 3, 2023.  James was born on August 6, 1973, in California to the late James and Laura Truax Sartain.

James was a man of God and a member of Chapel Street Baptist Church in Landis.  His family was the most important thing to him.  James loved to cook and grill as well.

James was predeceased by his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Flowers Sartain, his children; Jesse Sartain and his wife Brittney, Jonathon Sartain, James Sartain and his fiancé Hailey Blankenship, Summer Caldwell, Dakota Mills, Blake McEachern, Joshua Sartain and Savannah Sartain; his brothers, Grover Todd and Lucas O’Neal Sartain; his sisters, Dorothy Daniels and Susan Glover; and his future granddaughter, Josie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 10am to 12pm at Chapel Street Baptist Church, 805 N Chapel St, Landis with a funeral service to follow at 12pm officiated by Rev. Brad Jenkins.  Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
